First Congratulation to the 44th president Barack Obama- The first true African American to be elected president of this so called great nation. He is what is he and has the best of both world as some might say. Father from Kenya mom White American, It sound like a novaty gone with the wind snenario. He is not black american but trully the first African American president or the US first colored president. What does this mean for us? for black people?
All eye on an us and the i told you so will come pill in one by one by one. But you know what I dont care. For the first time in my life I left comfortable in my own skin, in my own culture. I feal as if this weight been lifted up and I need to some something for myself because like Obama I am a man of color and I do not want to shame myself or my country and my family. More than even the voice inside my head was beating this drum and it was getting louder and louder. It is time to move. I beleive Obama is not just an color president but a president for everyone. I look up to him. He is trully an inspirational. his fam can be look at like my fam and like him i will work my ass off to make something of myself because I too can do it. Thank you America thank you Obama!
